Dr. Felix is a publisher and lifestyle strategist with over 30 years of experience in marketing, magazine and book publishing, media development, and event planning, with a strong foundation in strategic positioning, audience engagement, and business and personal visibility.

She has developed and led multiple publishing and media initiatives that bring visibility to communities, businesses, and local ecosystems.

Her work centers on building structured platforms that translate ideas into clear, actionable communication.

Dr. Felix previously founded and published The Dance Magazine of Florida (2009), a statewide dance-community publication that informed and celebrated the arts by highlighting personalities, students, schools, studios, organizations, and events—connecting audiences through targeted editorial features and strategic distribution, including partnership initiatives with the Palm Beach County Cultural Council.

Our Story

Affidian Inc.was built from a simple observation: when communities lack a central platform for visibility and connection, opportunities remain fragmented and underutilized.

In 2009, Dr. Felix identified this gap within the dance industry and launched The Dance Magazine of Florida (World of Dance Magazine, DANZ’N)—a statewide dance-community publication designed to inform, connect, and elevate the arts.

The magazine highlighted:

      • Dance students, teachers, schools, and studios
      • Dance-focused businesses and organizations
      • Local and traveling competition groups

Through structured editorial and targeted distribution, the publication extended its reach beyond Florida, attracting out-of-state dance competitions and positioning Florida as a recurring hub within the dance circuit.

This initiative brought visibility, connection, and recognition to a growing community that previously lacked a unified platform.

 

Continuing the Vision

Now based in Lake Worth, Florida, Dr. Felix once again recognized a similar gap—this time within her own residential community.

Local businesses and residents existed within the same ecosystem, yet lacked a consistent, structured way to connect, engage, and support one another.

To address this, she is launching Fountains Living, a community lifestyle publication designed to:

      • Highlight local businesses and services
      • Feature residents, stories, and community life
      • Strengthen the connection between commerce and community

The goal is simple: to create a platform that supports the local ecosystem and contributes to the growth and sustainability of the area.
